Finally, Aktif Bank, one of Turkey’s investment banks, announced that it has stepped into the metaverse world.

In a statement, the bank stated that it has purchased a large area consisting of several parcels from Decentraland, one of the most popular platforms in the metaverse world.
With this move, Aktif Bank became the first and only Turkish bank in Decentraland.
Stating that they are pleased to enter the world of Mataverse, Aktif Bank Customer Experience and Communication Group President Gamze Numanoğlu continued her words as follows:
“As Aktif Bank, we have started to take our actions in Metaverse, which has entered our lives rapidly in the recent period and will accelerate its position in the coming period.
It is important for us to be present in every area where we can touch our customers and create better and new experiences.
By relying on the power in our digitalization process, we plan to offer our customers different experiences suitable for the world of Metaverse in this universe that will push the limits of creativity.”
Stating that Aktif Bank aims to develop projects in the metaverse for users in the near future with the Digital bank N Kolay, Numanoğlu also stated that they will provide users with a new event experience with Passo, the sports and entertainment platform brand in the bank’s area in Decentraland.
Lastly, Gamze Numanoğlu added that she will soon have surprise projects on Metaverse about the “N Kolay Istanbul Marathon”.
