Dusseldorf Airbus loses its chief financial officer. Dominik Asam is leaving the company, the European aircraft manufacturer announced on Wednesday. He will move to the software group SAP at the beginning of March 2023, where he will assume the position of chief financial officer. Asam and his team have contributed to the solid development at Airbus, said Airbus boss Guillaume Faury.

Before joining Airbus, the 53-year-old was responsible for the finance department at Munich-based semiconductor manufacturer Infineon. At first, no one could be reached at SAP for comment. CFO Mucic announced in March that he would give up his post early in March 2023. His contract would have run until 2026.
