Berlin Economists rate the decisions of the traffic light on Tuesday evening after more than two days of negotiations in the coalition committee as largely positive. The package provides “pragmatic and, in my opinion, very reasonable solutions,” said Monika Schnitzer, Chairwoman of Economics, to the Handelsblatt.
Her colleague at the Economic Wise Men, Veronika Grimm, explained: “The results encourage that the coalition is capable of action. An important signal.” And the Düsseldorf economist Jens Südekum said: “Overall, the night time traffic light session was worth it.”
