Task manager is an application that shows all running processes on a Windows operating system computer. For years, users have complained about not being able to find running applications in the task manager. On top of that, Microsoft search in task manager started testing the feature.
In addition to being able to search on Windows 11 Task Manager, other features coming for the Insider channel are also noteworthy.
You can now choose a custom theme for the task manager regardless of the one selected in Windows. For this, you should change the “application theme” option in Task Manager > Settings.
iCloud Photos era in Windows 11!
Microsoft has started offering the ability to integrate iCloud Photos on computers with Windows 11.
You can receive in-app notifications when you make changes to applications running in the task manager. You can mark the warning that comes with the new update as “Don’t ask again”. In this way, you may not receive notifications about the application again.
Other changes are as follows:
- Fixed a stuck issue when using the bottom right edge gesture to view Quick Settings.
- Fixed a bug that caused the do not disturb icon to disappear when in do not disturb mode.
- Fixed an issue affecting the file explorer.
- Fixed issue affecting landscape mode printing in Microsoft Edge.
- Fixed an issue affecting a computer account.
- Now with the “Show accent color on start and taskbar” setting in Settings > Personalization > Colors, the don’t show hidden icons popup background color now matches your accent color.
- You can back up applicable settings to your Microsoft account.
It is not yet known when the update will be released to all users, but the estimates point to the next month.
