Spectacular traffic accident on Sunday, around 1 p.m., in the Hüttenstadt: For reasons that are still unclear, the driver of a white Hyundai i30, who was traveling on Merziger Straße, suddenly left the road.
Then the accident began: the car was thrown into the air over a mound of earth next to the road like a catapult. The Hyundai flew over the adjacent railway tracks and landed on the railway embankment.

Eyewitnesses discovered the accident car and called emergency services. Emergency services and volunteers Firefighters rushed to the scene.
The driver was able to free himself from the wreckage
