The Republic Clock Collection, specially prepared to commemorate this important year, left its mark on the night. This prestigious collection, produced in limited numbers for the 100th anniversary, with every detail carefully considered and designed with symbols reflecting Turkey’s struggle for independence, consists of women’s, men’s and pocket watches.

Bilkom preserves the legacy of Ahmet İzzet Bengüboz, one of the most important document photographers of the Early Republic period.
The durable and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass used in the collection’s watches, the specially produced 316L stainless steel case and strap, the real mother-of-pearl dial in the women’s version, and the 8215 and 82S0 automatic movements produced in cooperation with Citizen-Miyota represent the unique combination of date and time.
Speaking at the special invitation given by Quantum Saat, a subsidiary of Arıkan Group, for the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, Mahmut Arıkan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Arıkan Group, said:
We started our journey by establishing Arıkan Saat in 1985 in a 13 m² shop in Tahtakale. Today, we continue to sell watches together with our business partners at 5 thousand sales points in Turkey and 70 countries around the world.
By purchasing Quantum in 2013 and Konyalı Saat stores in 2019, we made the 2 largest watch purchases in Turkey. We brought a new breath to the retail of the watch industry with our Konyalı Saat stores. Quantum is one of our very important locomotive brands.
Since 2013, my teammates and I have been carrying out design, production and planning together. We continue to win the admiration of our customers with our original, innovative, challenging, strong and durable designs.
Our dream was to prepare a prestige collection of the highest quality, worthy of the 100th anniversary of our Republic. Our design and implementation process took approximately 1 year. I am very excited and proud to introduce this prestige collection that we dedicate to the Republic and its values.
uantum In 1995, the Japanese movement was introduced to the market with professional diver watches. Quantum, a quarter-century-old brand, is a very important brand that has broken records with its diving watches and reached international channels with the support it provides to athletes.
Between 1999 and 2004, Quantum was with world-famous diver Yasemin Dalkılıç from her first dive to her last dive with Barracuda watches. In 2011, it introduced the special collection for the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Air Force and sponsored the Anatolian Eagles movie.
In 2016, we continued our cooperation for 2 years by sponsoring Turkish Freediving Record Holder Şahika Ercümen. Inspired by Turkey’s 3 biggest clubs in 2017, Quantum introduced its watches to the fans of Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray with the “Fan Watches” it produced.
In 2019, we added sun and optical glasses to our portfolio. It is an extremely special project for a brand that keeps time with its ‘Time Keper’ position to produce the ‘Clock of the Republic’ collection. Our dream is to introduce Quantum watches to the whole world.”
