Washington After two and a half years in office, US President Joe Biden can point to a number of achievements: the economy appears to be robust and investments are booming. Biden begins using references to promote his re-election in 2024.
So far, however, the economic success has not been reflected in popularity ratings, and Vice President Kamala Harris has also slipped into the low of the polls. At the same time, a renewed candidacy by Donald Trump is becoming increasingly likely. Despite several criminal cases, the ex-president is the Republican favorite.
In this situation, any political attack that challenges Biden’s position leads to nervousness among US Democrats. Former Construction Minister Julián Castro expressed “concern about Biden’s eligibility.” The reason for this was the short-lived rise in the polls for Robert F. Kennedy junior.
