Dusseldorf On Monday, the stock exchanges continued to decline. However, the Dax manages to significantly reduce its high losses at the start of trading. At lunchtime, the stock market barometer only loses around 240 digits and is listed at 15,286 points, a decrease of 1.5 percent.
In the meantime, the Frankfurt benchmark was 15,060 meters, a total of three percent less. The leading index had already gone out of trading last Friday with a minus of 0.7 percent and a closing price of 15,531 points.
The big expiry day on the futures markets, also known as the Witches’ Sabbath, which takes place on the third Friday at the end of the quarter, underscored its importance as a “game changer”. In 2021, this day always provided a new direction for the German stock market – and always downwards.
