Google will include the Tensor G2 processor in the Pixel 7a model, which is stated to be ambitious in the middle segment. Tensor G2 model has 2 x 2.85GHz ARM Cortex-X1, 2 x 2.35GHz ARM Cortex-A78 and 4 x 1.8GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics interface of the processor produced with 5nm technology is Mali-G710 MP07.
The new model could be the first device to use Qualcomm’s Google Tensor chip with Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, dubbed the WCN6740. Previously, Google preferred its chips to Broadcom for devices like the Pixel 6 series and Pixel 7.

Analyst Wojciechowski announced that the Pixel 7a will come with a 90Hz display manufactured by Samsung. The 90Hz screen, which has become a standard in mid-upper segment devices, will now be included in the entry-level models of the Google Pixel family.
Another important information leaked is the camera detail. Google will include a dual rear camera array in its new model. A 13 Megapixel IMX712 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64-megapixel IMX787 wide-angle lens will be used in the Pixel 7a camera lineup.
Pixel 7a will support 5W wireless charging alongside wired charging. While 5W is pretty slow by Android phones standards, it’s still nice to see this feature in a mid-range device as it’s not very common in this price segment.
The leaked device, which will be introduced on May 10, will be presented to users with a price tag of $ 449. It is stated that the new model will go on sale on May 11.
