According to the tweet, customers will see their balances in these altcoins move to “Earnings balance” between March 24 and March 28. This balance represents deposited funds and customers will not be able to temporarily unstake these assets or deposit any more funds until the update is complete on March 29.

Despite this temporary limitation, customers will continue to earn rewards for the duration of the update. Payments will resume after the update completes on March 29, and customers will be able to deposit more from that date.

As it is known, Coinbase, which is under the threat of lawsuits by the SEC, announced in its statement today that it will stop Algorand (ALGO) staking services in connection with this. The company also used the following statements for this altcoin in its statement:

“Coinbase will no longer offer rewards for Algorand (ALGO) from March 29, 2023. Customers do not need to take any action and ALGO is still available for transactions. This change will not affect any previously earned assets or earnings. Rewards for Algorand’s management period ending March 31, 2023 will be paid out in early April.”
