VMware saves its customers from chaos with cloud products and services!

VMware, Inc. (NYSE: VMW) announced at VMware Explore 2022 Europe its innovations, new products, services and new collaborations that improve customers’ multicloud journey. Hakkı Alkan, the founder of ShiftDelete.Net, followed the event on site.

With its multi-cloud products and services, VMware helps its customers avoid cloud chaos and use the cloud smarter.

Companies adopting multicloud are seeing their complexity, security challenges, and talent gaps increase drastically. On the other hand, despite all these difficulties, companies are increasing the use of multi-cloud. Together with its ecosystem partners, VMware provides flexibility and choice in multiple clouds, helping companies successfully transition to the ‘Using the Cloud Intelligently’ approach.

Companies that use the cloud intelligently, benefiting from multi-cloud operations, say their competitive advantage is improving and achieving the best results. According to a survey conducted by Vanson Bourne on VMware’s authorization, 97 percent of companies using the cloud smartly say that their multi-cloud approach has increased their revenue, and 96 percent said that they have also increased their profitability.

These findings highlight the value provided by VMware Cross-Cloud services, which take advantage of an intelligent use of the cloud approach that helps customers choose the right cloud for the right application.

Accelerating cloud transformation and bringing it to the edge

At VMware Explore Europe, VMware announced products and services focused on helping customers better run, scale and protect their enterprise workloads in private and public clouds and at the edge. These announcements include:

• With 25 partners worldwide VMware Sovereign CloudVMware Tanzu now runs on autonomous clouds, VMware Aria Operations Compliance for autonomous clouds, and new open ecosystem solutions.
• In VMware’s next generation SD-WAN solution The new SD-WAN client is helping companies deliver their applications, data and services to all devices in the building, branch office or home, over any network, in a more secure, reliable and optimized way.
• new VMware Carbon Black XDRimproves lateral security by bringing VMware’s network visibility and detection capabilities to VMware Carbon Black Enterprise EDR. This significantly strengthens the detection and blocking of threats on endpoint devices and networks.
• new VMware HCX+ and VMware NSX ALB PULSE Cloud Service improvements are helping companies adopt the cloud operating model.

Build and operate a cloud native platform

VMware also announced developments regarding the VMware Tanzu cloud-native application portfolio and the VMware Aria cloud management platform. Together, these two services enable companies to use the cloud intelligently at every stage of their journey, in the cloud-native development, delivery and management process to encompass the entirety of Kubernetes and clouds. These announcements include:

• Automate the creation of secure, reliable, and continuously managed software linked to the company’s compliance standards. Beta introduction of VMware Image Builder.
• Powered by VMware Aria Graph new free VMware Aria Hub.

Empowering hybrid workers

IT teams are struggling to overcome the challenges of today’s hybrid work environment, where employees use more devices, access more applications from more clouds, and do their work from more locations than ever before. With innovations in the Anywhere Workspace platform, VMware helps IT teams reduce the administrative burden and increase productivity with automation.

• Extending the scope of the VMware DEX solution to third-party managed Windows devices Digital Employee Experience Management (DEEM) with expanding.
• Workspace ONE Freestyle Orchestrator‘s extension enables automation of content-oriented ticketing workflows, including third-party IT systems, in addition to device-based task-specific workflows within Workspace ONE.
• Horizon Cloud on Microsoft Azure, received the Joint Authorization Board (JAB) Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authority rating from the Joint Authorization Board (JAB). At the same time, he obtained the Authority to Operate (ATO), that is, the authority to work in civil organizations.
