Frankfurt The jury of the German Business Book Prize has decided: “KI 2041 – Ten Future Visions” by Kai-Fu Lee and Qiufan Chen, published by Campus Verlag, is the best business book of the year. On Friday evening, the award was presented at a celebratory gala as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair. The prize money is 10,000 euros.
The award was “a great encouragement,” said co-award winner Qiufan Chen, who was connected via video chat. The Chinese author was standing in the rain in a “small town in Switzerland” at the moment of the announcement. Returning to his homeland is currently difficult, said the Chinese author – because of “what is happening in the world right now”. AI expert Kai-Fu Lee is currently outside of Europe and therefore could not attend the gala.
