US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said last week that there is no scenario in which Ukraine does not win the war against Russia. Pretty optimistic statement, right?
I do not find. Of course, Ukraine can win this war.
In view of the assessments before February 24th, this is a quite surprising statement. Many experts believed that the Ukrainians would last only a few days, if at all.
The Ukrainians were severely underestimated. Also by military analysts in the West. The Ukrainians were extremely well prepared for the Russian attack. They were better equipped and had a better strategy than many observers thought. In addition, the Ukrainian troops have better morale. They want to defend their homeland.
