After the natural gas hike last April, another hike came on the first day of June. According to the figures announced by BOTAŞ, a 30% increase was made in the natural gas used in the residence.
Today, natural gas, which we use in almost every job, from heating to cooking, has become one of the indispensable parts of our daily life. However, unfortunately, using natural gas economically it’s getting harder day by day.
The new tariff published on the official websites by Pipelines and Petrol Transport AŞ (BOTAŞ) upset both industrialists and individual users.
Here are the new prices
According to the official statement of BOTAŞ, the natural gas used in the residence 30% raise was made. In addition, natural gas used in industry 40% and natural gas used in electricity generation. 17% raise was made. In other words, for residential users, 100 cubic meters of natural gas increased from 2.511 TL to 3.264 TL in May.
