On Wednesday, June 14th, yesterday, the first test opening of KEMANKEŞ was held at Baykar Flight Training and Test Center built by Baykar in Keşan district. The TB2, which took off from the Keşan Baykar Flight Training and Test Center, set off towards the designated target to perform the fire test and fired the KEMANKES missile from a distance of 20 kilometers.
KEMANKES, a nationally produced mini cruise missile with a jet engine, traveled 33 kilometers thanks to this engine and successfully destroyed its target. Bringing another success to Turkey’s domestic and national defense industry move, KEMANKES successfully passed the first firing test.
