Close to 259 billion Shiba Inu meme tokens have been destroyed, according to the owner of a company that regularly burns SHIB tokens.
Steven Cooper, owner of Bigger Entertainment, a record company that has been burning significant volumes of SHIBs at regular intervals for a long time, took to Twitter to announce the news that a large amount of SHIB has been taken out of circulation recently.
259 million SHIB burned, more than 1 billion will be destroyed next week
Nearly 259 billion Shiba Inu tokens were recently burned by burning teams in the SHIB military, which are struggling to reduce the circulating amount of the second-largest meme cryptocurrency.
The executive also noted that over a billion SHIBs will also be destroyed forever in the next week, thanks to the combined efforts of all currently operating incineration initiatives.
“The community as a whole has added approximately 259 BILLION Shib coins to the dead wallet. With all the burning attempts, we will burn more than a BILLION dollars next week. Don’t let anyone belittle you for the work we’ve done here.”

Cooper’s company recently announced that they will hold a scheduled SHIB burning party that will be broadcast live on their YouTube channel on February 14, inviting 4,000 community members to attend the event so that 1 billion Shiba Inu tokens can be burned.
Shiba investors continue to buy tickets and participate in the event as much as they can, and the amount of SHIB in the team’s burning basket is increasing day by day. A total of 210,022,974 tokens have accumulated so far.
The company had previously held an event at Christmas where they burned 240 million Shiba Inu tokens.
Over 500 million SHIBs will be destroyed in four days
According to data shared by @317_key, another Twitter account that regularly burns SHIB, the team of the Brick Buster game is also planning a massive token burn on February 15th in just four days.

The team plans to burn more than 500 million SHIB coins. This amount is worth $15,695 at the current SHIB/USD exchange rate.

According to a post on the Twitter account of shibburn.com, a monitoring platform where the Shiba Inu community can track the amount of SHIB tokens burned, a total of 6,070,295 SHIBs have been moved to a dead wallet in six transactions in the last twenty-four hours.
