YouTube channel AR 4789 published a new video showing the “Windows XP 2024” concept. Inspired by the Windows 11 interface, the concept retains the general design language and icons to fit XP.

In concept, Windows XP 2024 adopts the minimal look of Windows 11. Icons, menus and windows have more vibrant colors. However, XP-specific design touches such as the Bliss wallpaper remain unchanged.

The start menu has been positioned on the left side of the screen to match the classic XP style. Rover assistant, one of XP’s iconic characters, is also included in the concept. File Explorer and Settings have also been redesigned with the XP and Windows 11 design.
