The more powerful version with 156 hp will be able to offer a range of 406 kilometers with the help of its 54 kWh battery. It will be possible to increase the battery of this version from 20 percent to 80 percent in 30 minutes with fast charging.
The 2023 Corsa will also be a first for Opel with its semi-hybrid engine option. The new turbocharged 1.2-liter engine with a 48-volt system will have two different versions that can produce 100 and 136 horsepower. Both engine options will transfer their power to the ground with a specially developed new six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Opel has announced that it will continue to offer conventional internal combustion engines alongside electric and hybrid power units. In this sense, we can continue to see 100 and 130 hp turbocharged 1.2-liter power units in the renewed model.
