Introduced by Google in 2017, YouTube TV has become the most popular live streaming service in the US thanks to its advanced features. The company, which wants to serve more users, has completed its preparations to activate the feature called multi-watching on the YouTube TV platform.
YouTube TV will support multi-watch
In particular, users who follow sports events will be able to watch four different channels at the same time thanks to multi-watching. YouTube explained that all transactions take place on its own servers so that there is no negative impact on users’ bandwidth.
The multi-view feature will be gradually rolled out to YouTube TV users over the coming months. Analysts speculate that the company was developed specifically for the NFL Sunday Ticket.

The company also announced today that multiview is coming to the YouTube app later this year. YouTube has replaced the red progress bar in the video player with gray for Android users.
The red progress bar continues to be used on the homepage and everywhere else, so it’s clear that the change is aimed at the viewing experience. Red, which is the highlight color of YouTube, will only change on the video watching screen.
No changes have been made to the progress bar in the video player for people using a light theme. It is not yet known when the new feature will be available to iOS users.
