A new study by UK-based GSM operator Three has revealed that bringing smartphones to matches can be dangerous. According to the survey results, the rate of damaging the phone during the match among football fans is around 30 percent.

59 per cent of fans surveyed by Three admitted to breaking their smartphone at least once before a match. The most common types of damage include a cracked screen at 51 percent, a crush/scratch at 42 percent, and a liquid spill at 20 percent.
