Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality introduced its new taxis, which are aimed to solve the ‘taxi crisis’ in the city to some extent. A total of 2,135 taxis are planned to be put into service by the end of April.
While the taxi debate in Istanbul has been going on for months, today a new step has come from the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to solve the problems. The municipality will serve the people of Istanbul their new taxi introduced.

According to the municipality, the new 2,125 taxisIt will be put into service from February. The target date to reach the desired number is the end of April.
The vehicles will be arranged for 8+1 people and will also host a disabled ramp. between the driver and passenger security compartment will be found and communication will be established with the push-to-talk system.
