Frankfurt Like Postbank, other financial institutions are terminating customers who do not agree to the current conditions and prices. The Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg terminated accounts at the end of January.
“Unfortunately, despite our reminder letter, we have not received any feedback from you on the offers we have made.” For this reason, the bank terminated the current accounts with effect from January 31, 2022. The bank warned its affected customers in a letter from Ende last year, which is available to the Handelsblatt.
The Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg explained: “It is true that we have given notice to a very small percentage of our current customers, combined with the offer to agree to the subsequent continuation of the current account through its continued use.” The money house is one of the largest cooperative banks in Germany.
