Frankfurt, Düsseldorf Tesla boss Elon Musk has once again moved the crypto market: This time with the picture of a sleeping dog puppy of the Shiba Inu breed, which he published on the short message service Twitter Monday night. “Floki has arrived,” he wrote.

As a result, Musk triggered a veritable fireworks display of cryptocurrencies bearing the name Floki: Floki Inu has since increased by 120 percent, according to data from the analysis company Coinmarketcap, the digital currency Floki Shiba by 276 percent and Super Floki by almost 600 percent.

The coins are all three relatively insignificant and do not belong to the 100 largest crypto currencies. Floki Inu has at least one special feature: it is a deflationary token whose owners should be rewarded for holding the coins. This is allegedly made possible by a tax of eight percent on all transactions, the holders of the coins should receive half of it.
