Berlin The picture is reminiscent of a science fiction film. It shows several people in pompous robes in a hall or a spaceship, looking through a large, circular hole into the distance, which is bright as day. But not only the content of the picture appears futuristic: The American Jason Allen won a category of the art competition of the Colorado State Fair with the picture – only he didn’t paint “Théâtre D’opéra Spatial” himself, but an algorithm.
An image generator that wins art competitions, software that fights a court case, a program that generates codes itself: artificial intelligence is slowly becoming a serious competitor for humans when it comes to creativity.
