Why will the new rent pay interest

If you buy a property today, you will pay an average of 50 percent more than you did ten years ago. In some metropolitan areas, prices per square meter have now even cracked the ten thousand euro mark. Should you buy now before it gets even more expensive – or wait for prices to fall again at some point and maybe even a bubble burst?

Our guest today is Jochen Möbert, real estate expert and economist at Deutsche Bank Research – and he is committed: the price increase will come to an end as early as 2024. So is there still hope for my own home?

How he comes up with this number, what should happen then and why he thinks that the question of buying or renting makes an ever smaller difference financially – we clarify that in the big interview.

In addition: The chip and graphics card manufacturer Nvidia – meanwhile the eighth most valuable company in the world – has presented new figures. You can find out why they even exceeded the huge expectations in our share check.
