Why many customers hesitate when it comes to the SAP cloud

Dusseldorf For SAP boss Christian Klein it is a central initiative: “Rise with SAP” is intended to encourage customers to introduce the cloud services of the IT provider. According to the manager, it is an all-inclusive package of software, consulting and services, sold with a single contract.

The cloud business is driven by this “flagship offer”, the manager explained on Friday when the Dax group published the figures for the first quarter.

The sales people brought 250 new contracts for “Rise with SAP” back to Walldorf, including big names like Accenture and Daimler Trucks. There are now a total of 1,600 who dare to climb the ladder with SAP.
