So far, companies in the USA have been particularly generous, and the annual general meeting season is also in full swing in Europe, from which good news is expected.

Many companies are showing with high dividends that they got through the difficult year 2022 quite well. In a study, the British fund provider Janus Henderson expects record distributions for 2023 of 1.64 trillion US dollars worldwide. The evaluation is available to the Handelsblatt.

However, the fund managers warn that the rise in dividends will slow as a result of the economic downturn that is already evident.
