South Korean Prosecutors Track Terra Founder Do Kwon to Dubai

Singapore police had previously confirmed that Do Kwon had left the country before South Korea issued an arrest warrant for him and five other Terra rulers.

South Korean prosecutors were later released from Interpol. cryptocurrency Terra’s founder had requested a “red notice” about Do Kwon. Currently, Terra’s founder is reportedly a fugitive wanted in 195 countries.

South Korean prosecutors and Interpol reportedly followed Do Kwon to Dubai, local news portal Chosun Biz reported. Prosecutors believe Do Kwon left Singapore a month ago and landed in Dubai.

While investigators are looking for entry records at UAE airports, the team has yet to find any evidence. Meanwhile, authorities and police have asked other countries close to Dubai to track his whereabouts.

The Seoul Southern District Attorney’s Office and Interpol are currently tracking the suspect’s location. However, authorities have not been able to locate it yet.

In a recent Unchained interview, Do Kwon revealed that he has no intention of returning to South Korea as his passport has been invalidated.

He also reiterated his statement that there were “no fugitives” and that he was cooperating with the authorities. However, Do Kwon stressed that he did not see any orders or documents related to the red notice from Interpol.

Terra founder Do Kwon is active on Twitter and claims prosecutors are spreading false information about him. While Do Kwon regrets losing $60 billion to Terra investors, he denied most of the allegations during his last interview.

He also clarified that the compensation previously promised to users by him and the Luna Foundation Guard (LFG) is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
