Where are the Instagram drafts? View and delete a draft

Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms with over 2 billion users and includes many useful functions. However, some may be overlooked. One of them is posts saved as drafts. So where are the Instagram drafts? How to view and delete a draft? We answered your questions!

Where are the Instagram drafts?

Instagram offers users the ability to manage posts saved as drafts. In a few steps, operations such as sharing, viewing and deleting drafts as in new posts can be performed.

Step 1: Open the Instagram app.

Step 2: Tap the ”+” icon in the upper right corner.

Step 3: In the tab that opens, you will see the options to start a Live Broadcast, as well as to share Posts, Stories and Reels.

Step 4: Click on Share post to view your post drafts.

Step 5: If you have a previously saved draft, it will be displayed to you under the Drafts tab on the sharing screen.

Step 6: Here, if you wish, you can re-share the draft you have saved. You can also delete them by clicking Manage in the upper right corner.

Users can also manage Reels and Story drafts. For story drafts, click on the story share option in the upper left corner of the home page. As with posting, if you have a previously saved draft, it will be presented to you under the Drafts tab. If you wish, you can share it again or delete it by clicking Select in the upper right corner.

For reels drafts, go to your profile and enter the Reels tab. Here you can see previously recorded Reels videos. Likewise, you can reshare it or delete it permanently by clicking Select in the upper right corner.
