Dusseldorf Heating with pellets continues to gain in popularity in light of the energy crisis. According to the German Energy Wood and Pellet Association, there were already 570,000 heaters and stoves with the energy source nationwide in 2021 – and the trend is rising.

Like natural gas, the prices for pellets have experienced a rally in recent months. During the year, the price per tonne in a six-tonne bundle rose from €366 in January to €764 in September.
