Karim Uncovers His Paternity
Rayane is reeling after discovering that Tomer isn’t his father. In his confusion, he assumes a man his mother met in Paris must be his biological dad. However, Jack remains skeptical, doubting that Malik would have allowed such a situation. He starts to suspect the validity of the fertility test. Meanwhile, Rayane believes in the test’s authenticity and thinks it’s his mother who is hiding the truth, leaving him feeling utterly lost.
As they walk to school, Rayane confides in Jack about his lack of interest in attending classes. Although Jack wants to support him, Rayane prefers some alone time and assures Jack they will meet up after school.
In a different storyline, Karim’s instincts about Tomer lead him to question Romy, who insists Tomer isn’t Rayane’s father. When Karim asks where she was the previous day when he called, Romy explains she was at Malik’s grave and expresses her hope that their family can finally find happiness.
At the police station, Damien reveals to Karim that he helped Rayane by conducting an out-of-court DNA test. Upon learning that the result shows Tomer isn’t Rayane’s biological father, Karim is not angry; instead, he asks Damien to run another test.
With the results in hand, Karim faces Romy at home. He has just discovered he is indeed Rayane’s biological father and seeks to understand why she kept this from him. Romy claims she believed Malik was the father. She explains that when Malik expressed a desire for another child, she realized she couldn’t conceive, which led to him discovering his infertility. Despite knowing the truth, Romy never disclosed this to Karim and tearfully apologizes.
Meanwhile, panic ensues when Jack rushes to the police station, frantically informing Damien that Rayane has gone missing and isn’t replying to his texts. Damien immediately contacts Karim, who alerts Romy. Thankfully, Damien manages to track Rayane’s phone and Karim heads out alone to find him.
When he arrives, Karim finds Rayane on the brink of jumping off a bridge and intervenes by revealing his identity as Rayane’s father…
Sébastien and Alain Forge a Bond
At the Spoon, Raphaëlle and Maud catch Sébastien in athletic gear with a bike helmet on, quickly connecting this to his newfound motivation for Marianne’s sake.
Later on his bike ride, Sébastien encounters trouble with his chain. Alain happens to pass by and offers his assistance. In gratitude, Sébastien invites Alain for a drink. At the Spoon, the two begin to chat and discover a surprising amount of common ground.
At the hospital, Soizic subtly tries to persuade Marianne of her father-in-law’s attributes, but Marianne seems uninterested.
That evening, Soizic encourages Alain to ask Marianne out for a drink, noting that he isn’t the only one interested in her. Alain feels uncomfortable pursuing someone who’s just experienced a loss, though François supports Soizic’s idea. Meanwhile, Adam is in a sour mood following Amel’s departure to Berlin.
Manon’s Anxiety About Intimacy with Nordine
At the Spoon, Nordine shares updates about his reconciliation with Manon with Rachel. Although Rachel is happy, she struggles with her recent breakup with Charles, whom she loved deeply. Nordine encourages her to explore new experiences and move on. Remembering a concert she was meant to attend with Charles, Rachel invites Nordine along and even suggests bringing Manon.
Later, during lunch at the police station, Manon discusses her reconciliation with Nordine with Roxane. However, she expresses her fears about intimacy due to her paralyzed leg.
By the end of the day, Nordine and Manon meet at the villa. As they kiss on the sofa, Manon voices her fears about progressing physically due to her leg. Nordine reassures her, showing that it doesn’t bother him at all, and gently carries Manon to the bedroom.
