What will be the price if we collect the system in Xbox Series X features?

Gamers have been going back and forth between console and computer for many years. Of course, those who have the opportunity can choose to take both. However, game-oriented users generally suggested that it would be more logical to buy a PlayStation or Xbox for half the cost of collecting the system.

However, it may not seem that attractive nowadays, especially in Turkey, due to the taxes coming to the console side. So, can collecting a system with Xbox Series X features be profitable in terms of cost and performance?

What will be the price if we collect the system in Xbox Series S features?

Does it make more sense to collect systems in Xbox Series S features? We tried building a PC instead of the Xbox’s budget console. Here are the details.

Cost of assembling a system on Xbox Series X features

In 2020, Microsoft introduced 2 new consoles, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Shortly after the release, the price was reduced and the Series X fell to 7 thousand 499 TL and the Series S to 4 thousand 899 TL. However, it is currently sold at a price of 13 thousand 699 TL and 7 thousand 489 TL.

However, many people suggest that it may make more sense to collect systems in Xbox Series X features. So, is it possible to assemble a computer at a really close price in terms of price, performance and accessibility?

First, let’s examine the features of the device. Xbox Series X comes with a processor that uses the 8-core AMD Zen 2 architecture and can run at 3.8 GHz. If we make a rough estimate, we can say that the processor we want to add to the system should be a Ryzen 7 3700X or higher model.

On the graphics card side, Microsoft uses AMD’s RDNA 2 GPUs with 12 TFLOPs of processing power. For this reason, it became famous for being more powerful than NVIDIA’s RTX 2080 Super at the time of its release. Therefore, we need to install an RTX 3070 or higher card in the system.

On the storage side, a 1TB NVMe SSD with 2.4GB/s write and 4.8GB/s read speed is used. There is also 16GB of GDDR6 memory available. But on the system side, we can only use the newly introduced DDR5 RAMs. However, if we consider that it is not widespread enough yet, DDR4 can also be taken to avoid any compatibility and part problems.
