Georges Seeks Vanessa’s Assistance
At the police station, Mona is devastated as Lucien has gone missing under her care. Georges shows her a picture of Terry, which she confirms is the abductor. An Amber Alert is promptly issued for the young boy.
The following day, Georges meets with Vanessa in the visiting area, determined to make her confess to the poisoning of Mélody and the abduction of Lucien. Vanessa insists that she would never hurt her son. Willing to trust her, Georges asks if she can recall any leads. She then remembers a true crime enthusiast who attended her trial and frequently urged her to join his podcast.
Later, Timothée discovers recordings from this well-known podcast and successfully identifies the three voices involved: Côme, Lara, and Terry, all of whom appear to be intrigued by Vanessa. Timothée takes note of the podcast’s technical hosting address. Georges and Karim rush there, where they find Lara, who claims to have no information about Terry. The officers bring her to the station, but Martin cannot hold her due to insufficient evidence, releasing her with a promise to keep her under constant surveillance. Meanwhile, Terry drives off with Lucien, leaving Sète.
As the day concludes, Karim receives a letter from the penitentiary and rushes to inform Georges. The letter, addressed to Vanessa, includes a recent photo of Lucien and a note from Terry stating that the boy deserves a better life than one with a police officer and a stranger.
Georges storms into the visiting area, accusing Vanessa of orchestrating Lucien’s kidnapping. Despite her vehement denials, Georges’s frustration escalates…
Soizic Interferes in Adam and Gloria’s Relationship
While leaving their usual hotel rendezvous, Adam and Gloria encounter Soizic, who is out jogging. In front of her son, she expresses her happiness for him, much to Adam’s relief.
Unbeknownst to him, Soizic is far from pleased and has been openly unfriendly towards Gloria at the hospital. She reveals to François that she only pretended to support their relationship, hoping it would come to an end on its own.
Later, Gloria meets Adam, eager to return to their hotel. However, Adam is excited about exploring new activities with her now that they are free from secrecy.
Alex Continues to Deceive Chloé
Concerned about his brother’s silence since learning of his illness, Robin reaches out to Alex, who answers but is evasive. He tells Robin he has been honest with Chloé and is prepared for surgery, but doesn’t provide full details.
After the call, Alex tells Chloé he’s taken the day off to spend quality time with her. They indulge in fast food in bed, cherishing each other’s company. Later, Chloé confides in Raphaëlle at the Spoon, expressing her happiness, while Alex enjoys time with Céleste. Resolute in his decision to avoid treatment, he deletes the voicemail Aaron left him.
