Berlin Christian Lindner has been criticized in recent weeks. The Federal Minister of Finance allows himself to be influenced by the economy and is not independent in his decisions, the allegations were.
The trigger was the ZDF satirical program “Die Anstalt”. Porsche boss Oliver Blume quoted this from a works meeting of the sports car manufacturer on June 29. After that, Blume, who will also take over as CEO of Volkswagen on September 1, is said to have said that Lindner kept him constantly up to date both in the coalition negotiations and in the dispute over the end of the combustion engine.
The Porsche boss has already apologized. He “chosen the wrong words in an internal event,” said Blume of “Bild am Sonntag”. “It gave the wrong impression.”
This is also indicated by the SMS history between Lindner and Blume, which the Handelsblatt was able to see – and which, according to Lindner, was the only communication between him and Blume during the dispute about the combustion engine off.
