Dusseldorf For the 16th time, the Handelsblatt, together with the Frankfurt Book Fair and the investment bank Goldman Sachs, is awarding the German Business Book Prize. The choice is diverse. The ten best business books of the year submitted by German publishers deal with the climate and mobility turnaround, the cum-ex scandal, the shortage of skilled workers, equal opportunities or general economic understanding. A top-class jury selects the winning title from these titles.
In addition, this year for the first time there is a readers’ prize, which is determined exclusively by the readers of the Handelsblatt. You are therefore in demand from now on! In your opinion, what is the best business book of the year, dear readers?

On the evening of October 21, the German Business Book Prize will be awarded at a celebratory gala as part of the Frankfurt Book Fair. The winners of the audience prize and jury prize are not communicated to the publishers in advance, but are surprised on the evening of the award ceremony. Whoever receives the prizes remains in suspense until the last moment.

The German Business Book Prize is awarded to an author who treats the subject of business in an exemplary manner and who makes economic connections understandable to a broad audience. The motto of the award is therefore “Understanding business”.
