What Is Elon Musk Planning To Do With His Wealth Equivalent to 861 Billion Dogecoins?

The net worth of Elon Musk, one of the richest people in the world, is around $209 billion. This is equivalent to 861 billion Dogecoins. While Elon Musk hopes that this money will eventually be enough to transport human life to Mars, some in the DOGE community envision DOGE becoming a currency on the red planet in the future. Details are here.

YouTuber Matt Wallace took the trouble to calculate Elon Musk’s wealth in DOGE equivalent. According to Wallace’s tweet, with a net worth of $209.4 billion, the equivalent in the most popular meme cryptocurrency is approximately 861 billion DOGE (at current exchange rate, that’s $205.9 billion in DOGE).

The YouTuber added that this is more than the net worth of Warren Buffett ($ 101.6 billion) and Bill Gates ($ 132.4 billion).

In response to the tweet, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO said he hopes his current wealth will be enough to establish a permanent colony on Mars.

Musk is believed to be one of the world’s largest holders of Dogecoin, and he recently admitted to owning DOGE. However, he did not reveal the amount of meme coin he owns.

Some Dogecoin fans in the Twitter comment thread said that DOGE could become an official currency on Mars in the future.

Musk wants DOGE to evolve

In a previous statement, the Tesla CEO emphasized the importance of lowering DOGE fees and is also working on it with the Dogecoin team.

As we reported earlier this week, DOGE co-founder Billy Markus also supported the post in which he urged members of the Dogecoin community to run DOGE nodes on their computers.
