The ambitious model of Peugeot’s C hatchback class, the new 308, manages to attract attention at first glance with its attractive design. The model, which displays a very sporty stance with its thin headlights, ‘Lion’s Tooth’ LED daytime running lights and wide front grille, supports this stance with its thin taillights and black details at the rear.

Coming with great innovations in the interior, the Peugeot 308 carries the i-Cockpit signature with its compact steering wheel, upgraded digital instrument panel. The 10-inch digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system screen of the same size stand out in the cockpit. In addition, we will see a 3D-capable instrument panel in the GT version.

We see the ventilation vents with different designs on the touch screen indoors. The culverts, with their length-to-length structures, increase the perception of spaciousness in the interior. At the same time, the quality of the materials used in the interior of the vehicle has increased significantly.

Under the hood of the model we reviewed, there is a 1.2-liter turbocharged PureTech gasoline engine that can produce 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The average fuel consumption of the vehicle, which reached 100 km / h in 9.7 seconds, was announced as 5.9 liters, according to WLPT values.

In addition to this engine, the new model can also be purchased with a 1.5 BlueHDI diesel unit that can produce 130 horsepower. Apart from the traditional internal combustion engines, Peugoet will present the new 308 model with two different plug-in hybrid versions. It has been announced that these versions can produce 180 and 225 horsepower. Both versions also allow fully electric driving with a 12.4 kWh lithium-ion battery.
