Frankfurt The US stock exchanges started trading with losses. The Dow Jones index of standard values ​​fell shortly after the start of trading by 0.9 percent to 32,520 points. The broader S&P 500 fell 0.6 percent to 4076 points. The Nasdaq technology exchange index was 0.2 percent lower at 12,521 points.

Bad news came from the job market. According to data from the personnel service provider ADP, only 128,000 new jobs were created in May. Experts had expected an increase of 300,000. The numbers give a taste of the official data that will be released on Friday.

The deliberations of “Opec plus” were also in the focus of the brokers. The oil cartel wants to increase its production in the summer much more than in the past few months. Instead of the additional 430,000 barrels (159 liters each) that are to be pumped into the market in June, daily production in July and August is to increase by around 650,000 barrels each, the group announced after an online meeting on Thursday. The price of oil then went up.
