new York Concerns about rising interest rates and the strength of the US economy caused a new wave of price slumps on the financial markets. The Dow Jones benchmark index closed Friday at its lowest level this year. He lost 1.6 percent, with a counter reading of 29,592 points.

The other indices also went down significantly: The S&P 500 closed 1.7 percent down at 3693 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 1.66 percent to close at 11,311 points.
