Wolfsburg After the double test phase, things are finally getting serious: Volkswagen is starting this week with the wireless transmission of software updates “over the air” (OTA) on a large scale. What Tesla vehicles have been able to do for years now also do the cars from Wolfsburg – albeit with restrictions. Only the latest generation of electric models from the ID family offers the technology, but not the classic combustion models such as the Golf and Passat.
