Verden: verdicts in the case of Andrea K. have been made – but who killed her is still unclear | Regional

On April 28, 2020, the body of Andrea K. (19) was recovered from the Weser near Belge in Lower Saxony. She was naked, her hands cuffed behind her back, a concrete slab hung from her feet.

But the process could not clarify how the seriously mentally ill young woman died. It remained unclear whether she was thrown alive or dead over a bridge railing into the river in April 2020.

According to the prosecutor, it is obvious that the 19-year-old was sunk alive.

But it is also possible that she was killed in a garage, or that she was left alone there in a helpless state and died.
