Vanessa Seeks to Reconnect with Lucien
The atmosphere is charged with tension as Georges and Terry face off, guns drawn. Just in time, Nordine arrives, enabling the police to subdue Terry and take him into custody. At last, Georges can reunite with Lucien.
The following day at the hospital, Victoire reassures Mélody and Mona that the young boy is recovering well.
Meanwhile, at the police station, Karim interrogates Terry, leading him to believe that his wife has been unfaithful. This tactic prompts Terry to confess fully, revealing his collusion with Côme and Lara to keep Mélody away from Lucien, with the intent of handing the boy back to Vanessa. This confession allows the authorities to secure the trio’s transfer to jail.
Karim expresses his regrets to Georges for not trusting his instincts sooner about the trio’s plans. However, Georges is troubled by the fact that none of them implicated Vanessa in Lucien’s abduction.
Nevertheless, when Vanessa pleads to see her son, Georges firmly declines, reminding her of their prior agreement that he would never permit Lucien to have contact with her.
Timothée Reunites with Sidonie
Timothée shares his anxiety about his upcoming date with Sidonie with Bart, especially considering his past failed relationships. Bart encourages him to focus on the positives.
Later at the police station, Timothée informs Manon and Nordine that he has decided to go out with Sidonie again, much to the delight of his colleagues.
At the Spoon, Timothée enjoys a drink with his father, who is thrilled about selling his vineyard to pursue new beginnings. Victor soon leaves his son to entertain Sidonie. Their date goes smoothly, with Sidonie confessing her fondness for Timothée.
That evening, as Sidonie arrives home, she removes her glasses, leaving the impression that she might be playing both sides…
Marine Questions Fred’s Affections
Victoire reveals to Soraya her deep regret over agreeing to lunch with Fred and Marine, feeling trapped and unable to back out at the last moment.
Instead, she arrives fashionably late at the Spoon, trying to mask her discomfort with a friendly demeanor, especially towards Marine. When Marine inquires about Victoire and Fred’s reunion, both minimize the significance of the event.
After their meal, Victoire confides in Samuel that the lunch was quite distressing for her. She observed that Fred and Marine appeared very happy and in love, which made her realize that there was little chance of him leaving her.
Meanwhile, Marine has picked up on Fred’s unease regarding Victoire. She encourages him to be truthful about any doubts he may have before she makes the decision to move in with him in Sète. Fred reassures her that his heart belongs solely to her.
