Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023 opened its doors. With the start of the event, many game companies also shared their new technologies. Unity, one of the leading game companies, was among the conference attendees. The successful company presented the new platform and the games built on it at the conference.
New Unity games can be experienced at GDC 2023
The Unity booth features 16 games created by different studios from around the world this year. Some of the games developed using Unity’s platform and services will be able to be experienced practically throughout the conference.
One of these games, FEROCIOUS, utilizes Unity’s High Definition Render Pipeline (HDRP), Shader Graph and VFX Graph technologies to present a mysterious world filled with lush landscapes, stunning seascapes and terrifying creatures. It will be possible to experience FEROCIOUS, a breathtaking survival shooter game developed by Leonard Saalfrank, at the Unity booth.
NVIDIA introduced its new 3D technology at GDC 2023!
RTX Path Tracing technology, which brings together NVIDIA’s existing tools and features, has been detailed.
Undisputed, one of the most original boxing games, will also be under the spotlight throughout the conference. Developed by Steel City Interactive, the game offers stunning visuals and staggering action that pushes the limits by benefiting from Unity’s HDRP and Animation Rigging technologies.
In addition, Bleak Sword, Breachers, Death Carnival, Highwater, Immortality, Kerbal Space Program 2, MARVEL SNAP, Mighty DOOM, Please, Touch the Artwork, Ship of Fools, Subway Surfers, Tall Man Run, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus and There will be an Atari game, which has not yet been announced.
In addition to all this, Unity today introduced its all-new Made with Unity online hub, providing instant access to inspiring and educational materials for those who haven’t attended GDC. By joining the Made with Unity program, developers will be able to be among the large Unity community and submit their games for evaluation.
