A Patriot missile system in Ukraine may have been damaged by a Russian attack, US officials say. According to initial information, it does not appear to have been destroyed and it does not look like it will have to be removed from Ukraine, two US officials told Reuters on condition of anonymity.
The Russian Defense Ministry had previously said that Russia had destroyed a US Patriot air defense system with a Kinzhal missile during the night. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that air defenses intercepted 100 percent of Russian missiles fired at Ukrainian targets on Tuesday.
