Twitter is testing Video Chat feature

Elon Musk has made radical changes to the platform since he bought Twitter. Today, according to the post of social media analyst Alessandro Paluzzi on his Twitter account, a feature that has not been on the platform before is being tested. Let’s take a look at the news for the first details of the Video Chat feature tested for Twitter.

Twitter is working on Video Chat feature

Social media analyst Alessandro Paluzzi announced that he is working on Twitter’s Video Chat feature with his share. Although it does not give much details about the innovation, it offered a visual about how it will look in the interface.

According to Alessandro Paluzzi’s share, there will be a symbol for video chat in the upper right corner of the Twitter DM box. By clicking on this symbol, a video call will be made via Twitter DM.

Twitter confessed! Intentionally blocked access

Twitter, owned by Elon Musk, has confirmed that it intentionally blocked third-party apps from accessing its platform.

The social media analyst also shared that there are plug-ins for video calling. According to this post, when deemed necessary, elements such as microphone and camera can be turned off during the call.

Video Chat for Twitter is currently in testing. It is not clear when the innovation will come to the stable version. However, according to Elon Musk’s previous posts, there will be many changes on the social media platform in a short time. For the same reason, the feature is expected to arrive stable in a short time.

On the other hand, third-party applications called Twitterrific and Tweetbot, which are paid for Twitter and offer exclusive features to their users, have not been working for about a week. On top of that, while many users left Twitter, an engineer announced that Elon Musk intentionally closed applications for advertising revenues.
