Frankfurt This year, building interest rates have risen at a rapid pace from less than one percent to over four percent at their peak. But now the curve has surprisingly tilted downwards again.

According to current data from the comparison portal Check24, interest rates below the three percent mark are again possible at individual banks in November.

Anyone who takes out construction financing of 300,000 euros can currently finance it for an interest rate of 2.98 percent, according to an evaluation of the online portal presented on Friday. On average, according to the real estate financier Dr. Small but still well above this mark.

For many homebuyers, the decline is a glimmer of hope. Because the amount of building interest determines to a large extent how expensive the financing will be for the coming years. Even small alcohol differences can have an enormous effect.
