Turkish Space Agency announced new details about HIS

Turkey Space Agency (TUA), which continues the space studies of our country with the slogan “Our target is a fully independent Turkey in the space league”, shared new information about the National Hybrid Propulsion System (HIS) that will carry the spacecraft to the Moon as part of the Lunar Research Mission (AYAP – 1).

The National Hybrid Propulsion System (HIS) is being developed by DeltaV Space Technologies. After the preliminary design process of the system, the first flight-scale test prototype and the production of the test system where flight-scale ground tests will be carried out

According to the mission concept of AYAP-1, the spacecraft in question will first be transported to space with a launcher. Next
orbit after performing phases such as system initialization and tumble damping
