Turkey’s first unmanned helicopter ALPIN features

The number of technological devices produced by Defense Industry companies is increasing. In the past period, many UAV and SİHA news took place in the press of our country and the world. But Turkey’s first fully autonomous unmanned helicopter, ALPIN, is not very well known. However, we think that we will hear more of his name when he enters the TAF inventory and takes an active role in operations. So, with which features does ALPIN come to the fore?

The nightmare of tanks: ROKETSAN KMC!

The Tactical Missile Launch System (KMC), developed by ROKETSAN and built on the FNSS KAPLAN-10, went on its first mission.

Unmanned helicopter ALPINE features

Built by TITRA on a helicopter platform with a capacity of 2 people and a maximum of three and a half hours in the air, ALPIN impresses with its new features. In the past, we have seen that it was used as part of the fight against Manavgat fires.

However, it turned out that the new prototype, introduced at IDEF 2021, can be used comfortably in the military field with the improvements made in body design and aerodynamics. As a matter of fact, the TAF placed its first order and this year, 4 ALPİN will enter the inventory. So, what are the capabilities of this vehicle that attract the attention of the TAF?
