TURKSTAT announced Turkey’s happiness rate. According to the 2022 satisfaction survey, one out of every two people states that they are unhappy. In addition, happiness rates according to age, gender and education level were also announced.

Are those who study in Turkey happier or those who do not?
Strangely enough, the higher the graduation rate in Turkey, the lower the happiness rate:
- 51.7 percent of those who have never finished school are happy.
- 52.7 percent of primary school graduates are happy.
- 46.3 percent of primary or secondary school graduates are happy.
- 48.3 percent of those who graduated from high school or equivalent schools are happy.

Money is not a source of happiness in Turkey!
In Turkey, the rate of those who see the family as the ‘greatest source of happiness’ is 67.6%. In terms of values, health is the biggest source of happiness with 68.2 percent. The rate of those who see money as the greatest source of happiness is shown only 6.2 percent.

- Transportation: 69.7 percent.
- Health: 65.6 percent.
- SSI: 63.8 percent.
- Judicial: 59.5 percent.
- Education: 59.3 percent.
Only 65 percent of us look to the future with hope
According to TUIK, the proportion of our citizens who say they are hopeful about their future, unfortunately, 64.9 percent level. While 64.9 percent of women look to the future with hope, 64.8 percent of men are hopeful about the future.
