Berlin Around 6.30 p.m., dozens of fund managers rush to the entrance of the historic “Stadtbad Oderberger” on Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin. More than 200 industry experts will be there on Thursday evening. They want to know whether they have won the “Scope Award 2022”.

The awards jointly awarded by the fund analysis company Scope Analysis and the Handelsblatt are considered the most important prizes for investment funds and their providers in Germany. It’s about more than self-affirmation within the industry. “The awards also offer investors orientation when making their own decisions, because the prices are only available for sustainable and long-term good performance,” says Florian Schoeller, head of the Scope Group.

Scope experts rated around 12,500 funds and around 2,000 asset managers. Awards will be given to 16 asset managers and twelve individual products in the security categories. In addition, there are 20 awards for managers of alternative investments, especially in the real estate sector, but also, for example, infrastructure. In addition, four certificate providers are recognized.
